License Renewal Fee: $225 active resident; $50 resident DC(retired and over 65); $100 inactive resident; $175 inactive non-resident.

Students: A senior student may sit for board exams prior to graduating
Preceptor/Intern/Extern Program: Students may practice under licensed D.C. through preceptorship guidance program. No temporary license for graduated D.C. to practice under licensed D.C.

Optional Certification: Board certifies injectable vitamins & minerals, (must complete course that has been approved by Board. Certification available.) Board certifies individuals in animal chiropractic pending completion of an approved course and Board approval of certification. Certification available Contact Board office about registry for post-doctorate diplomates and non-diplomate certifications. Advertising prohibited unless the chiropractor registers with the Board.   
         
CONTINUING EDUCATION: Accepts PACE
  Requirements: Effective 1/1/06, 8 hours of continuing education may be obtained out of state provided the Board has approved course 90 days prior to course being administered. 8 hours are mandatory in state with State Association (Total of 16 CEUs required)
Distance Credits Allowed: No webinars accepted at this time.
Program Criteria: Approval of programs to be offered to satisfy license renewal provisions is vested solely in the Board. Programs must be submitted by associations and other entities who desire to offer continuing education. CEU seminars shall be submitted 90 days prior to seminar. All seminars shall be of a chiropractic nature (among other relevant factors).

SUMMARY OF SCOPE OF PRACTICE:

Chiropractic is the science and art that teaches health in anatomic relation and disease or abnormality in anatomic disrelation, and includes hygienic, sanitary and therapeutic measures incident thereto. The scope of practice of chiropractic shall include those diagnostic and treatment services and procedures which have been taught by an accredited chiropractic college and have been approved by the Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
