Optional Certification: Approval by board needed to use therapeutic ultrasound & galvanic therapy and Nutritional Counseling Certification.
Requirements: Every chiropractor shall complete at least 40 continuing education credit hours in approved continuing education programs during each 2 year license registration period ending December 14 of each even-numbered year, except as specified in s. Chir 3.02 (1) (c). Every chiropractor must maintain current CPR certification during the registration period.
Program Criteria: Board approves both programs and sponsors, program relates to improving clinical skills in the practice of chiropractic. Apply to Board on special application forms. Contact State Board for copy of "Chir 5" for details.

EXAMINATIONS ADMINISTERED BY STATE: a State Jurisprudence (JP) Written Examination
Min. # years pre-professional education required for licensure: Must have completed 60 credits of undergraduate work, and have graduated from an accredited chiropractic college. Beginning July 1, 1998, a candidate must have attained a bachelor's degree in addition to the degree of doctor of chiropractic.
