EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
  Minimum pre-professional education is required for registration licensure. Graduates who hold prescribed/recognized qualifications are entitled to registration licensure without further examination. Refer to Registrar for further information.
  Accreditation for Chiropractic Programs/Institutions: Board approves individual schools.
         
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATES OF FOREIGN COLLEGES: 
The Board no longer recognizes oversea-gained qualifications. All oversea graduates must complete the Board’s examination to register in New South Wales.

“Chiropractic” is not defined in the Chiropractors Act of 2000. Only persons registered as chiropractors, osteopaths, medical practitioners and physiotherapists may manipulate the human spinal column, including its immediate articulations.

The Chiropractic Code of Professional Conduct, approved by the Board under the Act, provides that a chiropractor must only perform or participate in those procedures that are within his or her competency and for which he or she is appropriately qualified, and refer those patients whose needs and requests are outside his or her competency.
